My {Cheap} Hair Secret!

Okay… 100% not decor related! But… I get asked surprinsingly often about my HAIR! And let me tell you… there is no shame in my game!

Pregnancy is tough on your hair. And well, I’ve been pregnant a few times, lol! This last pregnancy was no exception. And despite some really expensive products, I just haven’t been happy with it in recent months and can not get it to grow! But, I also can’t bring myself to spend $500+ on real extensions at a salon.

So, here’s my secret! I realllly wanted a halo brand halo, but it was just a bit beyond my budget, too. So, I took a chance on these $10 halos from Amazon… and I must say, I love them!

They are NOT real human hair, and I won’t lie, they don’t quite feel like it either. But for $10, these look pretty darn good! A lot of cheap extension options are SO THIN and cheap looking, but these have surprisingly a lot o hair and really the perfect amount for some extra length and thickness! I don’t wear them everyday- maybe once a week or so when I feel like actually getting dressed or leaving the house. I bush them with my regular brush, and they’ve held up super well. I really like halos- because at the end of the day, you can slip them right off and be done! Really no maintenance, comfortable, easy to put on… for $10, it’s a fun option for the occasional night out. There are some fun colors and lengths, too!

(For those that don’t know, halos are just essentially a headband. There’s a tiny piece of elastic that you put on just like a headband, and thats it! No damage, no tape, no glue. Easy peasy 🙂

I did replace mine after about 11 months, and again don’t wear it daily. But for the price… no complaints here! Hope this gives one of you the little hair confidence you’ve been looking for! Let me know if you try it! <3
