I am Lindsay, from Michigan! I’m so glad you found us!
My grandpa used to always say I had a champagne taste on a beer budget. When AJ and I scraped to buy our first home, money was tight, but I still had alll the pottery barn dreams! So, I enlisted him to make me all the things I wished I could buy. It turned out he was pretty good at it!
AJ is a USMC veteran, and he is our HERO! But, he really struggled to find his place when he came back from war. He worked jobs that fed us, but barely, so we soon decided to turn his DIY talent into a little business. That was two years ago, and Rustic Marine was born! It really took off, AJ quit his job, and here we are. Working full time, from home, creating beautiful custom pieces by hand for your home. <3
A little more about us… we recently moved into our DREAM home- a farmhouse, built in 1906, on 20 acres! A week later, we welcomed baby number 7 into our lives! Oh, and some goats and chickens and ducks! Not only do we love creating for you, but we love being able to share our whole lives with you- from our own home, our family, our DIY projects and decor, the beautiful chaos of everyday life, and everything in between!
