On rainy days, I could just grab a book and hang out here all day… and pretend my kids aren’t destroying my house while I’m out here. 😂 I especially love that this little greenhouse is a collection of found items. A hundred year old door from our home, chippy terracotta pots given to me by a friend, antique furniture found in barns, dried eucalyptus from a friends fall wedding, table tops made of wood from the original barn on this property. Some of the items in the greenhouse date back to 1906, and are now the backdrop for beautiful family memories to cherish forever. It’s a vibe here. 🖤

I’ve been eyeing these gold mirror forever, but finally found a deal at @kirklands I couldn’t pass up! Love how clean and simple this landing feels now. Also- a look at our new (120 year old) floors! I used NO filters on this video so you can get a true look at colors. There’s so many golds! And the floors are @sherwinwilliams Mega Greige. Before you comment- these old floors were painted a hundred times in the last hundred years. Perhaps one day we’ll take them back to bare wood, but that’s a bigger project for a different day! 🖤 Also, thinking another project might be to make the walls lighter? ☺️ Anyways, enjoy the mirror! Our last night there we decided to be total tourists and hang out in 5th Avenue! I think we got a photo with every statue there, we enjoyed the sweet live violin music, we people watched, we marveled at the beauty of the city on a Friday night, and we made memories that we will never forget! And we even went out to dinner… which is something that rarely happens at home! Such a fun night! Day 2! Marco Island. It was overcast so we decided to take a drive and check out a new beach. We liked Naples beach better, but this beach was definitely best for seashells! We literally left with about 20 lbs of shells! Not sure how a whole week had passed since Black Friday but I have so much I want to share about it over the next few days! Including a list of all the vendors that were there, so just in case you couldn’t make it, you can still shop small for the holidays! Many of them have some great deals right now and there’s still time to get some amazing gifts! I wanted to thank each and every one of them for all the work it took to prepare for that day… the holiday season for small business owners is literally a blur, and I’m thankful you let us be a small part of that blur!

I also wanted to give the BIGGEST thanks to Jack and Carly from @imaginedesignandbuild @imagineacresfarm for collaborating with me on this event (working with Carly is a dream!), @willow_greenhouse for hosting us, Lauren Pearn Photography for capturing amazing photos with Santa, and @evergreen.mov for the video footage!
